In addition to ABC TV, Doctor Who also screens on UK TV on Austar/Foxtel pay tv service, available in many Gold Coast Hotels. The schedule changes month to month (at the moment it is screening at 6pm on Sunday nights) but be aware that due to time zone difference for Gold Coast to Sydney, that if the hotel (or private accomodation, for that matter) uses the satelite service for Austar / Foxtel then you need to deduct 1 hour from the programs listed time ( eg, if the program is advertised at 6 pm, that refers to the Sydney time, so it will be on at 5 pm on the Gold Coast).

Schedule available at http://www.uktv.com.au

Doctor Who Series 3 ended a few months ago. The DVD of the last three episodes is available in ABC shops from today. The ABC has shown every Doctor Who program so far and the new series has been shown on Saturday nights at 7.30. It is the same everywhere in Australia on the ABC. Expect the new series sometime next year.

Interestingly, the spin-off series Torchwood was shown on Channel 10 who really didn't know what to do with it
