That really depends... you see we can't make something that never really existed before. But when it comes to originality, yes we can create something no-one else has thought of before, but they say that this approximately happens only once in every 500 years!!! Wickedly creepy!

We are creators. We create ideas, concepts, values, art, stories, theories. A robot can produce. But to create takes creativity.

"Creation: Artistic and Spiritual," O. M. Aivanhov, "Saint Germain on Alchemy," and "Autobiography of a Yogi," Yogananda http://www.yogananda-srf.org "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?", Free and Wilcock, http://www.divinecosmos.com and "Watch Your Dreams," "Men in White Apparel," and "Kundalini West," Ann Ree Colton, are relevant to your question. Some co-creatorship with Deity occurs.

That depends on your definition of creation.
When we create a lightbulb, do we create it, or do we just put it together.
There are many abstract things that we create. We create climate change, we create problems, we create new ideas, we create questions on Yahoo! Answers.
