I doubt even if Madeleine McCann's little brother and sister could and did read the comments by the hate campaigners they would even temper their wild flights of fantasy, because, as you point out, they are embittered, vengeful and filled with envy. I hope it will not be too long before esteemed psychologists and psychiatrists let all be party to the syndrome and causes of these malicious, cruel ignoramuses. What on earth would possess a person to add to the misery of parents who have a tiny child missing? I believe there are only 2, maybe 3 people on this forum driving the Witch hunt, the others are just easily led. 1 in particular is a barely literate geriatric raver with a drug problem (of which he boasts), I think the majority of hatred and ridiculously silly lies are told by this sorry but cruel individual. Ordinarily he would be a figure for ridicule but due to the animosity and hatred he creates, I think he is a loathsome creature.

for my 2p's worth - you talk about 'anti-mccanns' as just being motivated by spite - but i feel it is much much more complicated than that.
the facts bear out that in the case of children going missing or being hurt - probability is that it was a member of the family/friends rather than a complete stranger, so surely it stands to reason that the parents / friends are investigated - that is what would happen in the UK, I am sure
i totally understand how people find it hard to conceive that parents would do that - but the facts show that these things do happen
the press obsession with this (and lets not forget who started that ball rolling) say one thing one minute and another thing the next, i read an article yesterday saying that the portuguese reatment of the mccanns was based almost entirely on forensics taken from the scene and analysed in the UK - and after all we are told that DNA evidence is pretty damning - so if there is even a shred of truth in this - then surely - for the sake of justice - this avenue should be properly investigated rather than ignored because of the idea that a professional british middle class couple couldnt possibly have done this which statistics prove is not true
who knows what is true and what is not - we were not there, i wish taht the police - portuguese and UK were allowed to investigate without all of the nonsense reported in the paper, i personally think that the mccanns have spent money hiring people who are trying to prove that they had nothing to do with this - which is understandable - so i think we get one set of stories coming from a camp with one objective and the opposite story from another

Let's face facts, Maddy is missing, BECAUSE her parents left her alone, therefore, they are responsible for her disappearance, just as much if not more than the person that took her, if she was abducted at all.
I also find it strange that DR O Brien still carried on with his socialising, even though his daughter was being sick, apparently changing her sheets, before returning to the tapas bar.
This to me shows what a self centred group of people who cared little for the welfare of their children, when it interfered with their social lives.

Thanku Lorelei, good to read something that makes sense for a change, i hope those twins never read the bad things that have been written about madeleine and their parents.I do believe madeleine was taken by someone and believe and hope she is still alive and found soon.

You are quoting from the Express who in common with every other paper do not have a clue as to what is actually happening. Each day every British newspaper with a McCann story see saws wildly between ,looks like they are guilty, not guilty, pay your money and take your choice. The media have a win win situation here, the McCanns sell, simple as that.Believe what you choose,i believe the parents have covered up her death, accidental or otherwise and i also believe the truth will out.

According to same paper we had forensics saying body fluids were in car only a few weeks ago for god sake!!!
EVERYONE should wait for the investigation to conclude - these stories are previous ones repackaged. No authority has come out and concluded anything. No one has been cleared and all avenues are being explored.
The press are just speculating and so are the people reading this tripe every day!

There will be no completion to investigations, the whole thing will gradually get scaled down. Already there is only a handful of police on the case.
The parents tried every whichway to keep this in the public eye. They have succeeded in doing that.

Haven't the Express been rather vocal in their condemnation of the McCanns, would this be a turnaround for them. ?
I would hope that Maddie is alive but i fear that is not the case.

You are right to post this even though it is about the McCanns. The anti McCann hate campaign is a phenomenon because so many people could join in via the Internet.
However it was simply another medieval style witch hunt based on hate and envy, everybody who posted remarks showing hate have no claim to be civilised.
I salute the brave parents
