I think you should swaddle her. What harm is there in it? I am 25 years old and can't fall asleep without a blanket wrapped tightly around me. We all have little quirks that just make us *us.*
If it works for your daughter, do it.

keep swaddling her!! Don't force her not to if that is what she wants! If the blanket is getting a bit small to wrap around her now, then buy a bigger one or use a 'flat cot sheet' (not the fitted sheet, the other one). She will let you know when she doesn't want to swaddle anymore.
Have you also tried the baby sleeping bags or 'grobags' these are very secure for a baby also and she might be comfortable in one of those.
best of luck

Swaddle her! I loved swaddling my son!
It makes babies feel secure, it reminds them of being in the womb .. why would you want to deprive her of that comfort and security?
Doctors suggest swaddling your baby ... and if it helps her sleep .. why wouldn't you want to swaddle her???
She'll outgrow it .. but enjoy being able to hold a baby in that position .. my son is only 3.5 months old and does not like being in the cradled position .. he wants to be up on my hip like a big boy.
Enjoy it while you can!!!!

Why not just keep her swaddled? If thats what she wants-is there a specific reason you dont want her to be?

I did this with my youngest until close to a year. I had to upgrade to a larger sized baby blanket though. Nothing wrong with it.
Good luck

have you tried some really snuggly pajamas? that might give her a similar feeling. they have nightgowns that are closed on the bottom that might make her feel cuddly. :) sounds like she just likes to be really cuddly and snuggly warm. i don't think you really have anything to worry about or anything but you could always ask her doctor. good luck!

if she wants to be that way, why are you fighting it? she'll outgrow it sooner or later.
