I would feel weird about it too. But it's probably totally normal. When I first started breastfeeding my daughter, my vagina would get wet. I was totally embarrassed and never told anyone, because I thought something was wrong with me. It stopped after a couple of times, but I've always still felt weird about it. I think it's hard to get it all straight when it comes to hormones, especially when you're pregnant. We have crazy dreams, and worry about strange things. Good luck to you honey. I'm sure you'll be fine.

If you do some of your own research on breastfeeding, you will discover that it causes the uterus to contract and can generate pleasurable physical feelings other than the psychological ones you will get from the physical bonding with your baby. It is unlikely you will experience an actual orgasm while breastfeeding, but there is a known connection between nipple stimulation/erection and sexual arousal - both ways - when women are not nursing.
That being said, there is no reason to feel embarrassed about the dream or the orgasm you experienced - both are perfectly normal. (Women can and do experience orgasms while sleeping just as men can and do.)

dreams are just that, dreams. Don't worry about it. We all have weird and extremely vivid dreams while being pregnant. I don't think i've heard of women having orgasms while breastfeeding (that would be weird) but it certainly brings on the same feelings emotionally as when you are with your partner like love, connectedness, safeness, assurance etc....
Don't feel guilty about it at all. It was just a dream and people have very vivid ones all the time. Just put it down to hormones and grab hubby before you go to sleep tonight instead!!
best of luck and good luck for an easy birth, soon

hey i had a similar experience, where i'd dream that im having one, and i actually wake up having it, but luckily in my case, i didnt dream breastfeeding.
I dont think you should associate the two. You just happened to have dreamt that while this other hormonal thing was going on.
Do not feel ashamed, or embarassed.
As for breastfeeding, its a totally different feeling. And its nothing sexual, you will see. Its something like bonding and giving something to your baby that only you can.
So i dont think you will orgasm as you breastfeed.
Relax and do not associate too. Its only coincidental that those two incidents happened at once.

I'm sure some women do, but for the majority...no.
Perhaps the reason behind the dream was that you feared you might find breastfeeding sexual/pleasurable? This is not really something to worry about - even my boyfriend now thinks of breasts as *food* first and foremost, and then as toys. It may be a little hard to understand until you've experienced it, but for me it's almost as if there's a mental switch that flips my sex-drive 'off' while I'm nursing my son.

There does seem to be some link between breastfeeding and orgasms. But the literature focuses on actual breastfeeding, not dreaming about it.

I nursed 3 children, 2 for over a year each. I can't honestly remember having an orgasm. But that doesn't mean that its not normal. I am sure when your baby is born you will manage just fine. You will get to feel exactly what its like. You will just know.

I certainly can't say I ever felt any sort of sexual pleasure from breastfeeding, I don't think that is very common... when you have your baby in your arms I can't imagine this actually stimulating you. Can't say too much more, but you shouldn't feel guilty about it. It's just a dream after all.

Its normal for you to be worried, the dream is all your hormones and fears messing with your head. I breastfeed my last child for 22 months and never had an orgasm. You will see its not sexual at all. You might not like your partner messing with your breast during the time you breastfeed. Well I didnt anyway.
Peace and enjoy your baby everything will be fine. And please give breatfeeding a try its a wonderful thing.

i don't know about the link between breastfeeding and orgasming but i did have multiple orgasmic dreams while i was pregnant. it was really odd since its only happened while i was pregnant. maybe the extra hormones caused it to happen. oh well i know i wasn't complaining.
