Sleeping Beauty. I saw it with my older brother when I was young. One of the few memories I have with him. The visuals were quite overwhelming to a child's eye and the memory of seeing it on big screen has stayed with me for 40 years.

We couldn't watch them over and over when I was young. I grew up when there were no videos and when the only Disney movies we saw were in the theaters, and you couldn't afford to go back repeatedly. You saw a movie one time and hoped you would have money for the next one you wanted to see.
Starting when I was about 3 years old, there was "The Wonderful World of Disney". I think it was on Sunday evening, and it ran for many years. Mainly, they showed made-for-television specials, and they also ran some of their films such as "The Fighting Prince of Donegal". I don't recall them airing their animated movies though I'll never understand why. After all, the habit of re-releasing movies to theaters wouldn't be in practice for a very long time. Besides, barely any of those listed even existed when I was young.
My favorite Disney movies are "Dragonslayer" and the POTC trilogy. I also love "The Three Lives of Thomasina" and other films from early Disney.
My favorite animated ones would be the early ones perhaps. I like "Fantasia" and "Bambi", and I think the earlier Winnie the Pooh cartoons were good. Mainly, I find Disney's animation disappointing. Walt Disney wanted to go in new directions, but the public refused to follow him there; so, the studio got into a rut then fired many of their animators. Now, they're shifting to the computer stuff. Honestly, I find that very few Disney animated films hold up. Maybe that's because I'm older and have seen incredible work from Russia, Germany and Japan that put the Disney studio and other animators to shame. I'm not sure that I would have watched Disney cartoons over and over.
When I was about 10, I saw a Russian animated film, and it amazed me so much because, when I looked at Disney's output, I realized even at that age that it didn't measure up to this other work! Maybe I was a strange child, but it made me look elsewhere for other styles of animation.
As a comic book lover, I did this, too, realizing that DC wasn't the only "game in town", so to speak. When I saw Marvel, Gold Key and others, it really opened my eyes, just as that Russian animated film had.

The Pixar stuff is large like the Incredibles, Monsters Inc and Toy tale however the different stuff is aimed in the direction of babies. I nevertheless think of early Disney replaced into far extra ideal and Dumbo is a all time classic yet now i'm 37 I don`t think of i'm a sturdy guy or woman to speak approximately video clips for babies. i visit declare tho I do like most of the Dreamworks video clips so Disney has opposition Shrek is outstanding and you will see Dreamworks on many a sparkling lively movie

I love 'Beauty and the Beast', because Disney did a great job transferring this story, which was also one of my favorites to read, to film. I've seen at least two other film versions of beauty and the beast and Disney's leaves them all behind. Too bad that it did not win the Oscar for best film.
I love 'Mulan' because of the music and the ongoing theme. Hearing Donny Osmond again was especially a treat.

The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella are my favorites.
I love them all so much that I can't pick just one! They're the best! I don't know how many times I've watched them...but it's certainly been a lot.
