NO WAY!!! Do not give up ther future for a player that is eating his way out of the league. In two years he will not be able to play third anymore at this rate. His speed that was praised when he first come up went away with all the Big Mac's going in. THose three are corner peices of the future for the Yankees, go with a soild defensive 3B rather than mortgaging the future on wasted talent.

That is the best trade someone has put up for the yankees to obtain Cabrera. My guess is that the Yanks would still have to give up Tabata as well though. Yanks do that, they get Cabrera, but it would be a mistake. You NEVER trade pitching.

No.

Ian Kennedy looks like he will be a good pitcher, and the last thing the Yanks need to to give up pitching, they need more pitchers not less, who cares about the postion players.

Throw a few more prospects in there too. if the Yankees are known for one thing it's trading away good future talent for the player of the week.

Not a good deal for the Yankees, they would be giving up too much.
