Clear Fluid?

Question

I am leaking clear fluids and i just thought maybe it was discharge... should i go on to the docter tonight or just wait untill my appointment tomarrow

im 7 months pregnate and there is no pain at all...

I leaked clear fluid when I was 26 weeks and thought the same thing, hmmm maybe I'll call. I called my doctor and he had me go straight to labor and delivery. I was in labor, having contractions every 2-3 minutes. They ended up stopping and holding it off with meds and bed rest and I went full term and had a beautiful, healthy baby boy.
Call your doctor. Even if it just turns out to be nothing, you'll be happy you did. You can't take any chances when your and your baby's health is concerned.
Have your doctor paged right away and get checked!!!
p.s. my mom told me amniotic fluid smells 'sweet'- if that helps.

it could be amniotic fluid. Put a pad on and see how wet it gets over the next half to one hour.

Depends on how far along you are but if you are around your due date then ring the hospital and let them know your water has broken, but they will probably tell you to stay put until contractions come or if nothing happens in 'x' hours go to hospital.

If you are way off your due date then go straight away to the hospital as your water could have broken and they need to monitor you asap.

uhm...that doesnt sound normal, how far along are you? It could be your amniotic fluids leaking and if thats the case you need to get to the hospital right now, in fact I think you should regardless. The worst they'll do is send you home! How much fluid are you leaking?

yes you have probably lost what they call your mucas plug and then you wld have dry birth that is very dangerous and painfull,,,,,,,,please go now i am a licsenend certified med tech you know the 1 that gives out your meds i also do trachs, and catherization oh well u get the point

well if you go to the hospital then they are gonna just tell you to wait for your obgyn you should just relax and stay off your feet and take it easy until you have to go to the doctors.
