Oliver (from Oliver Twist), Penny (from Disney's "The Rescuers") and Hatchepshut (Egyptian queen).
I have also named a dog Lykourgos (ancient Greek orator), 2 kittens Circe and Kalypso (Ancient Greek witches), and four other kittens Earnest, Oscar, Cecily and Banbury (from Oscar Wilde's play The importance of being Earnest). Oh, and another kitten, Severus.

My dog of German shepherd breed is named Bholoo. In Hindi, bholoo means simpleton. When he came our house at the age of 5/6 weeks, I found that his face was without any expressions. There was neither surprise, happiness, anxiety or fear, nor anger or greed in his face. Instinctly, I thought he is very simple by nature and named him Bholoo. Even now at the age of almost five years, he maintains the same simplicity abiding by his name fully.
