I have two baby showers coming up in the next few weeks. I have not had time to do the registration thing at the stores. Does that make me a bad person? I'm in the process of moving and all sorts of stuff. I figure most of these people are smart enough to be creative... :)

I just had my baby shower last weekend and i didn't have a registery and still everyone managed to figure out what to get. It made it more fun to have no idea what I was going to get. Don't worry about it, just enjoy.

You don't HAVE to have a registry. Like you said, most people are smart enough to figure out what the mother/baby needs. The registry is more for specific things. Like the specific bedding or clothes that you like. That's all. Without a registry, its simply left up to the guests discretion. If you don't like the style or color, you can always exchange it later.

I wouldn't even worry about the registry! I registered at 2 places (mainly at one place-the 2nd place only because the first place didn't have a few things I wanted)....wouldn't you know it...only 1 person got something off the registry!!! So honestly, don't worry about it if you are busy!!!! Congrats

That's OK. People are creative enough. But don't get upset at them if they give you 5 identical items when you only need 1.
