Changes over what period of time? Over the past year, the only changes in earth's moon would be the occassional meteorite collision. But billions of years ago, giant meteor/asteroid collisions excavated huge basins, cracked the crust, and allowed lava to ooze out , filling the basins with the "lunar seas" that we see today. (the lava froze solid, of course, a long time ago.)
The other change is that humans have landed on the moon! In fact, Apollo 11 landed on one of those seas of frozen lava.
