I was told by my bank, that most of the time its a scam..One person is willing to add $100 more than the asking price..both the letters I recieved, the words are spelled wrong, what is the best way to sell on-line..on Craigslist it says not to use Paypal. Can anyone give me advice please..

That is usually a scam. Tell them to get a USPS money order, they are even cheaper than a cashiers check, it is usually secure. As for selling I prefer Ebay as well. And as for paypal.... they charge a fee ( i think around 3%)for the service that is possibly why they say not to use. check out paypal for yourself before using to make sure it is for you. I've been using it for years and besides the fee I love it. But beware of scams with paypal NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFO TO ANYONE WITH OUT MAKING SURE THEY ARE LEGIT. example: paypal is www.paypal.com only . just be careful.

I sell everything on eBay and get paid via Paypal. Works like a charm and I don't have to screw around with scam artists like the ones you are dealing with now. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

Try a money order or Western Union

dealing locally is the best way! don't do online transactions. post up a convenient meeting place for both u ("I can meet you at any train station or at Central Mall") and if someone emails you saying they can meet you there, great!
