Well yea to a point
its good to have a special day for yourself =]
kinda overrated,but fun .
not really a holiday, more like a day of being not neccesarily spoiled, but just feeling more extraordinary than usual =]
but theres also a downside-not having any attention after your 24 hours of fame is up, and feeling old =[
u??

Rarely,
My birthdays always end up horrible.
Like Once My dad Made me go to school, Tho I told him I felt horrible,
And Sat at lunch, And my friends started singing happy birthday to me, then the whole cafeteria joined in, And I cant take that kind of attention, So I go to run out of there and end up puking everywhere.
:[
Talk about embarrassing

It's 4 days before X-Mas, so it's close enough to being a holiday.

To me its just another day, but a very very awkward and unpleasant day to say the least. I hate being the center of attention, and especially for the whole day. I hate receiving gifts, and money, and all of this attention. I don't feel worthy of it, I feel like such a bastard for taking the money and gifts given to me. I was born, so I get all of this stuff and attention? I dunno, I've just always felt conceited concerning birthdays. I guess its just me.

Yes definitely. It's a special day. More than a holiday.

I don't but, it sure sounds like a holiday. Think about it. On a holiday (some holidays I mean) you celebrate right :D And, what do you do for your birthday? YOU CELEBRATE! haha.. yeah. :D

A person is only born once, so it's really an anniversary of their birth. To me, it's an anniversary, that I made it another year without dropping dead and cocking up my toes.
