It a real shame that you cant get the Skyline so easy in the US it would be great to see a different style, added to these cars as each country seems to bring a style to each different car,and for me cheaper parts as parts and other bits are cheaper to buy from the US.
I am lucky enough to have had the R32 and have an R33 spec 2 ATM.They are great cars and give me a smile every time i sit in it.even today i parked outside a local school whil;st i walked to the GYM and kids where lined up against the fence shouting how great it looked.

There not the greatest and fastest car ever made but they have great hidden bhp and can reach around 500bhp with stock parts. So for people like me i can buy these cars for no real great money and scare the expensive big boys,in there big 100-200k $£cars.

The UK is major tight in emissions and is made that they pass or test mine has a cat fitted stock, and safety wise has side impact bars dual airbags etc etc.But they seem to fail in the US and be worse then a 5l v8 engine for example.

I have seen one here in Waukegan, IL. It was pretty sooped up and was still Right Hand Drive. 1996 and up was the beginning of OBD2, the new On-Board-Diagnostics computer system placed into effect by the US EPA for public road use. A 1996 and up Skyline is still an OBD1 (Japan hadn't placed OBD2 standard till later) thus is not legal for public road use, however can be enjoyed off road and on the track. 1995 and below is fine to use on public streets. Just be really careful passing large trucks, its kinda hard to see around from the right side of the car.

Dude, you must experience a skyline, i live in Austrlaia and we drive on the rhs, but the law is trying to stop them coming into the country, already stopped the R32's, its just so everyone can drive a crappy holden and other local built cars. My dad had 5 last december, but thats coz he imports cars. They have fast accelaration and my brother loved driving them with me as passenger.

true... they are available in japan. us does not import these vehicles because they don't meet the smog standards a stuff like that. plus.. dont you think it is kinda scary to be sitting on the right side of the car driving. and they're fast as heck. i might go to japan just to drive one of those babies
