Well if you are looking for mmorpg or something like that a massive multiplayer on-line games rpg you can go to a website http://www.mmorpg100.com/ and it has all the best but you have to have accounts and it saves all the time!

I always check MMorpg.com for the games list, they list the games by name and price, you can find alot of free games there.
Also Wikipedia is a great place to look.
