I expect the same treatment I give people. If I give them poor treatment, I can expect poor treatment. However, I give most good treatment and get the same in return. I don't expect more from someone that I myself am not willing to give.

i try not to expect much of the best since i'm more likely to be let down.

i try to expect more from the worst because if i were right, well then that's what i was expecting. but if it's not as bad as i thought, i trick myself into feeling a little better.
