The Angels. A-Rod should have stayed in NY. I can't imagine anyone paying what Boras asked the Yankees to pay. Bad desicion for A-Rod, Boras, and all of baseball. If Mark Cuban were allowed to buy the Cubs (The owners wont allow it), then he would have brought A-Rod to Chi-town to reunite w/ Lou. Alas, another example of big money ruining sports, and another example of baseball owners not giving a damn about the game and looking out for their own interests.

I hope that the Dodgers get him. Along with some other great Yankees. I have always been a Yanks fan, but I hope like hell that the Steinbrenners sell the team. Big George always runs his mouth and screws a great thing up.
A-Rod, whether you love him or hate him is the best all around player in MLB. He will set the HR record without an asterisk. He has lived up to his 250 million that Texas gave him,Multiple MVPs and even at his worst (2006)as some people claim, he was still much better than 95% of all other players.
Bottom line is he is worth whatever he is being paid because they will sell tickets and the team will be more valuable. And he continues to put up GREAT numbers.

My guess would be the Angels for many of the reasons stated above. If the Red Sox don't re-sign Lowell, they're also a definite possibility.
Honestly though, how ******* hilaroius would it be if the major leagues "boycotted" A-rod and didn't shell out what he wanted. It would make my day if he got less money than before because he's a greedy asshole. Obviously I know that won't happen, but it's fun to think about. In baseball, one player can only do so much. On D, he's a little above average 3B. On offense as we know, he a ******* monster. If you think about it though, his contributions aren't going to be sorely missed by the Yanks. He had like 13 or so GW RBI, but all his other stats just iced games and put other teams away. The Yanks would be fine with a 3B who plays D and has average production, especially with their nasty offense.
**** A-ROD

THIS JUST IN:
The owners of the Pirates have agreed to just give the team to A-Rod and he can be the owner, the General Manager, The Manager, The whole coaching staff, All the position players, and he can pitch too Hmmmmm..... lucky for A-Rod he doesn't need to be a high priced DH, for this is the National League! If he had to DH as well, I am certain he would demand 375 million instead of the mere drop in the bucket of 350.
YUP! A-Rod is that good and worth that much!
A-Rod, he is the man!

Angels or Dodgers are the two most likely choices.
Red sox, don't sign A-rod, we don't need him because he is a greedy bastard and only cares about his personal stats and could care less how well the team does. Please sign Lowell, he was a big reason why the redsox won the world series this year.

The Dodgers could use him, but they won't spend the money. The Angels will pursue him, but A-Rod will end up with the Cubs playing for his former manager.

I have been saying the Angels all along but it now looks like the Mets are taking a run at him. I really believe he would like to stay in New York and he would be welcomed by the Mets fans.
