House Republicans are circulating a petition on the House Floor that would force Speaker Nancy Pelosi to allow all pork barrel spending waste to be debated and publicly scrutinized.

Nancy Pelosi herself is in the top of the list of creating million dollar do nothing spending programs. All together programs like hers costs taxpayers billions of dollars. Her own do nothing programs are designed just to help her get re-elected. The programs take U.S. federal taxpayer money and spend it her own congressional district in San Francisco. She is in the top three of the list of wasteful spending projects with Murtha being number one.

This petition will not succeed without the support of fiscally responsible Democrats.

They've never been accountable and never will be! Yet, they demand it from everyone else. Just like in the last administration, the fact Hillary is running again shows she feels she has no need to account for their past behavior!

your question contains its own answer. they CAN "refuse to be held more accountable" and so they do. Who's to say otherwise?
