Reasons why one breast should be larger than other?

it is a recent issue a knot showed up in my right breast in the upper right corner and is acompanied by slight soreness .
my monthly cycle is a week away if that has anything to relate

This could be related to having your period come soon but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
