chester usto drive by a place called lincoln park so he came up with the name for the band but it was already taken by some british band or something so they changed it to linkin park

Its a Lincoln Park in Chicago thats where I thought it came from but spelled different

I think a long time ago they said something like..every town has a Lincoln Park, so if they named their band that, they would be the local band everywhere they played =] And they changed the spelling so it would look cooler hehe
