Think about this if men did carry the child would men first have to get consent from the mother before getting an abortion since women have the right to choose? I believe it is doubly horrible that the father has no say in the mater of the abortion of his child. I do not agree with abortion unless there are excruciating circumstances i.e. rape, incest. Put children first they are our future.

I am not for or against abortion in all forms, Meaning, there are reasons that abortions should be preformed. If the mother was raped, if carrying a child will put the mothers health at risk or cause death,. If the child has no hope of surviving outside of the womb. I do not however believe that abortion should be used as a form of birth control. I don't think that it is an issue that would be solved simply by having men carry the child. I believe that men should have a bigger say so in the issue though. If a woman chooses to have a child even when a man does not want the child that man is legally responsible for the child. He doesn't get a choice, If a woman wants to have an abortion once again the man has no say. That is his child also. A man is just as capable as a woman in raising a child. If he wants the child then I do not think that the woman should have the right to abort the child. Yes it is her body that the child is in so please don't start talking about that. All I am saying is We Woman can not and should not have it both ways. If we expect a man to be financially responsible for a child that he does not want then we need to be responsible if he does want the child and carry the child to term and hand the child over to him,

You can't say that a woman who aborts because she doesn't want to have to rely on her wife beating husband for financial support is wrong for having an abortion (her husband who used to be nice by the way).
Who is judging her for it anyway? God. I don't think so, if it was gods will for this woman to have a baby, he would have sent her a good man. Sometimes having a baby is just too hard and the woman has to set her priorities and get her own life together first. Some woman are not as strong as others. If men carried the children, I think the world would be in serious trouble. They have a low pain threshold. Imagine the whinging.

If men could be pregnant then abortion would be available as drive-thru with free beer.
Either gender could face the prospect of an unwanted pregnancy. Have you not heard of men not wanting to be fathers?

You are right, abortion wouldn't be an issue. Since most religions are ruled by men, if men carried the child then the ones making the decisions would actually know what they were talking about by experience. It isn't right for some man in the Vatican, or where ever to tell a woman what she can and can't do with her own body.

If men carried the child, you would still have the same issue. Abortion would still be immoral.

I THINK THAT NO MATTER HOW YOU PUT IT OR WHO IS HAVING THE ABORTION IT IS STILL MURDER AND THERE IS NO WAY AROUND IT. IT IS UNETHICAL AND AN ABOMINATION TOWARDS GOD(IM NOT GOING TO PREACH JUST WANT TO MAKE A POINT) BUT IF MEN CARRIED THE FIRST BABY THERE WILL NOT BA A SECOND BABY AND THEY WILL HAVE NO PROBLES WEARING A CONDOM THEN. THINK ABOUT THAT! :)

why is it not moral? the child has not developed a brain @ the time abortion is allowed. plus is it more moral to let a child suffer when you can't even support the child, especially at a time that humans are over populating the earth.

I think it would be more of an issue, men are more selfish.
I include myself.
Is that the point of your teacher?
