I'm a new Mom to a 5 month old daughter, and I love reading all the quotes in here from other mom's going through the same things. Some days can be really stressful! My daughter is teething but today has been a good day, she's napping right now and I am at peace, relaxing and getting some cleaning done before she wakes up.

Awww yes I have hon. If you come to that decision then that's probably the best answer for that situation. Sometimes it's not good to keep rehashing the same situation over and over in your head. Come back to it tomorrow, most likely you'll have new ideas and a fresh outlook on the situation. Never forsake your peace of mind. If you break mentally you won't find a solution to your problem. Enjoy your nap! And may tomorrow bring better things for you. /hug

Yes, indeed. How about having such a bad WEEK that you head to bed early.

I have had that happen many times. You become so emotionally drained that the only cure is sleeping. Once I am rested and have my energy back, the next day is better.....and if the problem still is on-going, I deal with it with a rested and more clear thinking mind and body.

YES, frequently - of course !!
For about a year in a row, all I did was go to bed hoping I would go to sleep quickly and the day would disapear.

Yeah,..but then it's been hard to sleep when that happens. What works best with me is to go to the piano and play my heart out. Some times I've written some of my best compositions during these moments.

I think everyone has those days. But there are so many things to keep yourself occupied to get your mind off the things that get you down. I usually just lounge in front of the TV and watch old movies.

Sorry you had a bad day, if that is what you're implying. No. I have never had to do that. I tend to let things roll off my back. I don't like to waste any time, energy or emotion dwelling on things that I cannot change.

Life is the way it is.
