Do you mean you are separated? If you are married, and get separated then I think you have to wait until your divorce is final to get child support ,not sure though might vary by state... If you mean you are married and you have children with an ex, then yes you can still file for child support from them.

I'm not sure what you mean, but if you have a child living with you and the other parent does not also live with you, then you are entitled to receive child support from the other parent.
Whether you and the other parent are married, or whether you are married to someone else, makes no difference at all.

Yes, you can file for child support even while you are married! My wife did on me (even though our daughter has always lived and still lives with me). So if you are married and absolutely need to file, it can be done!

If you are married and are getting separated.. then yes, I had a friend do it (this was in CA). If you have married some other person you can also.
