I have thought of Rayla and Raylynn. I need people's opinions on these names and other suggestions.

Raylynn is nice! How about Raylene, Rayna, Rayanne, or Rayne?
♥Good luck!

Rayla is beauitful, and I'd be very surprised if your daughter ever came across another Rayla in her lifetime. Alternatively, the 'Smallville' addict in me has to suggest Raya... I actually recently met a young woman by this name and she said she loves the fact she's never once run into someone who shares her name. Also, the female spelling of Rae would work, but if you take this option, might I suggest you use it as a middle name as it will most probably flow better?
All the best and nice to see you love your husband so much you've given this thought and want your daughter, in some way, to carry on her father's name... that is very sweet!

Raeanne
Raylene

I will admit I'm not much for Rayla, Raylynn is pretty but I would spell it Raelynn. The "yly" in the middle just doesnt look right, kind of gives it an awkward look. I think putting the e in instead of the y for most girls names gives it more of a feminine look.

My cousins name is Raynee Rae! My aunt named her that because when she was in labor with her there was a terrible storm going on and the electricity at the hospital went out! She gets compliments all the time on how cool her name is. Anyway, just thought I'd share that. Best of luck on finding the right name for your daughter.
