I am not a Pats fan, but I think that if the Pats are still undeafted and in the Super Bowl everybody will watch. This is watching history. It will be something that you can tell your kids or grandkids about. Sometimes history outweighs being liked.

Well a person who loves the game would watch the superbowl no matter who was in it.
Personally I despise Peyton Manning (respect yes) but still despise him with a passion. I still watched last years Superbowl and I had to tip my hat to him and the Colts.

Of course, the superbowl is the biggest and most watched thing EVER!
Even if 30 teams got suspended for illegal drugs, then the 2 teams left are the
dolphins and rams, Everyone would still watch it,

All the pomp and festivity. The chance to meet up with friends you haven't seen for awhile. The food, the drink, the chance to win money in a pool. Americana!! If the Pats are in it or not, who really cares unless, of course, your favorite team is in it. If your team wins, great. If your team doesn't win, they do it all again next year, anyway. Have a little fun!

I'm not a Pats fan, but I don't see how anyone could boycott the Super Bowl and consider themselves a "real" fan of the game.
Besides, even the Pats-haters shoudl have some respect for what they've accomplished.

if you are a fan of football, you wouldn't let 1 team determine if you are going to watch the super bowl or not. Plus, if they have a good halftime like that did with Prince, I will watch the game for that reason alone.

I agree most playoff games wind up being better than the Super Bowl, but to not watch? What the hell are you, British?

I'll always watch the Super Bowl no matter who is playing. The matchup determines how much beer I drink and how well I pay attention to the actual game.
