Not one bit. I have to edit for Jon a; not caring what people think about me, does not mean I'm a slob, it means I do not change who I am just to appease some one else. It means I buy the car I want as opposed to trying to impress someone, it means I hang with people I like as opposed to people other people think are cool, it means I do not run out to buy the newest gadget to impress strangers on the street. it also means I dress in cloths I like, not what the magazines say are the things to wear. So i am not a liar, just free to be me, and not worry about what the neighbors care about.

Maybe a little bit........that would be my ego talking.

But it boils down to whose opinion we're talking about. The world in general; why should I care?

I do care about what the people that love me and work with me think of me.

No, because at the end of the day I am still me and if I change for them I won't be happy and neither will the people who love me the most.

I only care what the people I love think of me. Outside of that, no, not really.

Occasionally I do, though that is mainly at work. In my personal life, I am rarely phased by peoples opinion of me.

I did when I was younger but now, I honestly don't. I bought a new motto into my life. This is how I am and you can accept it or not. I can't kiss booty to please people into liking me. And I will stay away from you if you act shady too.

Yes, it may be shallow sounding but other people will decide what jobs you get, schools you get into and many other major factors in life that people judge you on.
