LOL, sucker, not a chance, as your forehead would hardly be visible among the vast number that these type of scams are sent to. Don't take these personal, but do delete and refrain from even responding. There's no quicker way to confirm that an e-mail address is legit, than to reply (even if complaining, refusing, etc.) to it.

Any time someone offers you money for free (and you didn't sign up for a drawing/contest or buy a lottery ticket, which is the closest you'll get), be suspicious.

I used to get those emails all the time and then my friend sent me an email on how to get rid of those types of emails. I copy and paste an offical looking letter back to them and the scam emails have gone from about 1-2 a day to 4-5 a month. I have copied and pasted the letter below in case anyone is interested in using it.

Hello Mr. (Enter the name here)!

Your Email address and IP (Internet Provider) address have been recorded and have now been forwarded to the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Commerce and Trade Division of the United States Department of Homeland Security. Your IP address is unique to your provider, as well as the computer you are using, it can accurately be tracked to the residence or business it is located at, within just a few hours of activity. All e-mail and online activities now associated with your IP address can and will be used against you in the event that you are prosecuted for fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud or intent to commit fraud as well as grand larceny. Any further attempts to contact the United States citizens who reported you and your email and IP server, will be recorded by the Department of Homeland Security and used to file additional charges of harassment.

You have now been advised to cease and desist. Any further activity on your part in these proceedings will be considered a willful attempt to disregard international law and a violation that you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent for.

Sincerely,
Undersecretary for Management
Dept. of Homeland Security,
Washington D.C., 20528

I haven't seen this but I bet a dollar, its junk mail. Notice how they use MS, Yahoo, AOL names to catch your eyes. If this was true....you would have notified by certified US mail.
