What was your experience like? Do you think it's a good birth control method? I just had a baby and am breastfeeding. I don't want to get pregnant again for at least 4 years. Would Depo be a good choice for me?

I would never ever recommend depo for anyone. TOO many women suffer horrible side affects and health risks because of the effects the shot has on their bodies.

and google "depo provera lawsuit".

Try an IUD, the patch, the pill, etc.

I liked Depo much better than the pill. It was convenient. It did not make me an emotional basket case. I lost some weight while using it and my periods almost stopped. I was warned that it would take me a long time to get pregnant after discontinuing but I got pregnant about three months after discontinuing its use. I liked it, but I had a friend who didn't. It is worth a try. I think everyone is different.

I was on depo before I got pregnant with my first baby. And I think it is ok to take while you are breastfeeding but I am not sure. But for me depo was great for me and I am thinking when I have my second baby I am going to get back on it

I was on Depo for 2 years and it was the worst! I had spotting every day for the 2 years, although no period. I was cranky all the time and was very "dry". Coming off of it now for the last 3 years I still do not have a proper period. Also when you stop taking it, it could take up to 2 years for it to fully be out of your system.

Persoanly it did not work for me. But it will be diffrent for everyone.

If this would not placed your innovations relaxed, i might schedule a docs appointment and ask for an inner sonogram. clarify to them which you have have been given taken countless checks at abode and nonetheless think of you're pregnant, yet do not think of which you hcg ranges are actually not severe adequate to sign up on a urine pattern. maximum suitable of success to you!
