Okay I live in an area where broadband internet is not available through cable but cingular(which is my cell phone provider) has a tower like 1 block from my house and my phone is always blasting with signal well as for sprint i have no idea where they have coverage. I live in, Grady, Arkansas. ALso can I use to chat online with friends and check my mail and just to surf the internet?

Instead of getting a broadband card, try getting a PDA phone like the AT&T 8525 and adding unlimited internet to it. It will cost a LOT less in the long run AND you can use the 8525 as a wireless modem. Edge network speeds aren't the greatest but you should see 256k or a bit better if you have strong signal strength. If you travel to a 3G area such as Little Rock, Tulsa, OKC, or KC you'll see speeds of several megabits.

Sprint's CDMA technology is a faster network for data. Check sprint.com for coverage info, there should be a check box for broadband coverage.

sprint is better and faster. and you can chat and use anything on the web
