I think it's possible....I think the republicans are dumb to not push more for Ron Paul...I'm a democrat and quite frankly not so pleased with the republican party....but the only and I mean ONLY republican that I would ever even consider ....is Ron Paul....cause he isn't a douche.

NO he would not but because his he is a Libertarian and the Rupublican party has shifted to the extreme right wing in recent years...
Ron Paul has a chance if he ran as an independent since the beginning and had huge fundings like Hillary.
It does not take huge corporate fundings to get lots of money for campaigns. Barak Obama's average dollar amount donation is $20, he has raised almost as much as Hillary because LOTS of people have donated and that is the key.

No, I heard him today and he was very short on solutions. He can talk about problems pretty decently though, but he was not forthcoming what he would do as president to change the situations. And if you really look at his record and his stances you will find Hillary is to the right of him. People on the net like him but that is about it. I doubt he makes much further than Iowa.
Remember the reps out raised the dems in '06, didn't help them.

Americans want a president that:
is Honest.
is Constitutionally sound.
is Revolutionary.
cares about what our nation is and has stood for for over 200 years.
cares about the deluge of illegal immigrants flooding our country and stealing our jobs.
keeps jobs in the states rather then sending them overseas so that companies can receive tax incentives.
and a whole list of other things....
The one problem with that is, when THAT candidate finally presents himself the people refuse to recognize it.
People need to start being loyal to America and stop being loyal to their party.
P.S. Thumbs down me all you like. It still doesn't disprove the fact that some of you are more loyal to your party then your country. PEOPLE HAVE BLEED AND DIED to make this country what it is. Americans are asking for everything they bring to themselves. That includes a Giuliani or Clinton White House.

no.not even if the military backed him(which they wouldnt).he wants to get rid of every entitlement program in america including the department of education, and any type of government run healthcare system.people like his policy on iraq, but if he wants to cut all these programs than he can do away with taxes all together, other wise their will be riots in the streets.90% of americans disagree with him on just about every issue but iraq(not a scientific poll, but i know at least 75%)

He's too far out there to win the presidency. When push comes to shove, he's unelectable. But he does have some interesting ideas.
