Yesterday I had cramping pains from about 4:30 pm untill this morning, I tried treating it as BH , drinking water, lying down on my left side ect but nothing would make it go away but neither did the pain increase. I also experienced shivers . I called my ob/gyn after hours and spoke to teh oncall doctor who was very worried untill he asked if I had recent incourse which I did two days ago so he said teh cramping my a reaction of the nerve ending of my uterus reacting to teh sperm? This is the first I've heard of that lol

Today the pain went away but it's come back but more painful now and I've been having looser bowel movements and softer stools. Moving does not help them so I'm at a loss what it could be , I am 27 weeks pregnant

UPDATE: If the cramping is constant... as you just updated, then, just go on into the hospital. My water didn't break until the 30 minutes before I had my daughter, that was after 22 hours of labor pains. I went from 3 centameters to fully diolated in 30minutes. My point is, just cause your water hasn't broken doesn't mean that you won't have the baby soon. With constant cramping as you described, I would just go on into the hospital. ______________________________________... Sounds normal. Keep timing everything. Your contractions might be closer than you think. You might want to just go to the hospital now.

If it has come back again today, then I would call the hospital again or go and see your doctor straight away.
Menstrual cramp like feelings and loose bowels can be a sign of labour so its better to be safe than sorry.

There is the possibility you are experiencing preterm labour. Please go to see your doctor or midwife. If you are having your baby at 27 weeks the hospital is the safest place to have him or her. In the meantime, drink lots of water. Some women experience preterm labour when they are dehydrated, and drinking can stop the contractions. I would also suggest you have a urine test done to see if you have a urinary tract infection(bladder infection) as it can also cause preterm labour and treating the infection may stop the labour.

All the best!

Call the doctor.. they say that braxton hicks contraction should go away when you move or walk around. See if walking makes them go away. Sperm can cause your cervix to ripen.. but it is too soon for baby to come so I would call the doctor again just to be sure everything is okay. Good luck
