How to Steal the World (1968)

This film was created by editing together two episodes of the very popular "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", onoe of the wonderful series from the Sixties. The film meshes Parts 1 & 2 of "The Seven Wonders of the World Affair", the final episodes of the series. *SIGH*

Turner Classic Movies ran a marathon of U.N.C.L.E. films, so I ended up watching "The Karate Spies" aka "The Five Daughters Affair" Parts 1 & 2; "The Spy in the Green Hat aka "The Concrete Overcoat Affair" Parts 1 & 2; and "Helicopter Spies" aka "The Prince of Darkness Affair" Parts 1 & 2. The titles are awful! It's too bad they couldn't have used the originals. Anyway, I had a lot of fun revisiting the world of espionage with Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn) and Illya Kuryakin (David McCallum). Some of the guest stars are amazing: Joan Crawford, Eleanor Parker, Curt Jurgens, Janet Leigh, Jack Palance, and Leslie Nielsen (a very good dramatic actor), plus wonderful character actors.
