How do you feel about the word "love"?

I use to say it all of the time, to my boyfriend, (who is now my ex) I would tell him I love him.. over texting. He would say it too. I know I didn't REALLY love him.. But we would just say it anyways. I say it to my friends all of the time.

Do you think you should only say it to like the person you wanna be with forever? (boyfriend/girlfriend)

Or do you think it is ok to say it to your friends?

Please no mean comments!

I'll give you 10 points if you have the best answer..

I think the word love is too often used when the person saying it doesn't really mean it.
I think it's great to tell friends, family members and others you really care about that you love them, but not to people who you really don't have that feeling for.

I am married for 9 years.Now seporated.
He lied .
Cheated
Stold
Told me i love u.
He said he thought he had too.
I said cause i did love him at the time.
I say don't say I LOVE YOU
Inless you mean it.
Like & Love is 2 different words.
Just cause U like some one ,
Dont mean U love them.
I dont think it okay to just say it.
But if U really love ur boyfriend/girlfriend/lover/husband-
Go for it say i love U.
And U can love ur friends.
Say it if U really mean it.

No mean comment from me.
I said i how i feel.
And what i believe in.

There is a difference between loving someone and being "in" love with them. It is ok to tell your friends that you love them. When you get older or "truly" fall in love you will know the difference. Being "in" love with someone is realizing that you don't know what your life would be like without them. Being in love is like two people becoming one.

I SAY IT TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THEY HAVE TO BE CLOSE TO ME TOO. AS FAR AS COUPLE IT'S USED WAY TOO MUCH AND MOST PEOPLE DONT MEAN IT. I NEVER SAY IT TO A GUY. A LOT OF TIMES IT'S USED OUT OF CONTEXT.
