I've been in lots of ice and street hockey games and although I was a goalie 99.9% of the time, I had a knack for getting into fights.

As for being at games and getting into fights with other fans I don't recall any bad experiences. In fact they have all been funny in a way.

But I will say that the oddest one happened during the Calder Cup playoffs between the Philadelphia Phantoms and Chicago Wolves at the Wachovia Center.

I was there with family and friends and some young guy seated behind us was yelling most of the game. I don't mind most kinds of behavior but he was going every minute and I had enough about half way through the first period.

I turned around and said "Yo man, they can't hear you and probably wouldn't listen to you if they did. So knock it off." Before I got done saying "knock it off" my Mother turned to see who I was talking to and she recognized him as my 2nd cousin. I don't think I ever met him before.

They said their greetings and then I heard him say "Oh, THAT cousin Bill." He was good after that.

Verbal? Millions of times. Physical? I almost did a couple of times, but in the leagues I've played in the refs break you up pretty quick. So no, not really. A little pushing and shoving, but that's hardly a fight.

Oh, wait. You mean in the stands! Absolutely not. There are ushers up there for a reason. If you don't like what someone is doing, tell the usher about it.

Uhhmm yeah..
most of the times I have been in a fight for no reasons at all.
Some times you get pissed off, like one of those
back pushing, and whoever gets in my way will have to deal with me first!

Mostly I enjoy hockey not only by winning a game but When you deal with a fight or just wanna express your feelings.

Second thing it's legal so I really enjoy hockey than any other sports out there...

And this are the stuff that you can't do in let's say, Basketball, swimming, football

EDIT:
You mean the audience?
No.. I haven't beaten an audience a*ss yet.
But some times it's too close into that situation.

Yes it happened at a high school game in the playoffs so Tension was already high, and me and 3 people on my team and 4 people on the other team were, suspended from playing in the next game for fighting so we sat in the crowd,

Started off Verbal after the first goal by my team, then the guy on the other side said something about my team mates mother who was in the crowd so he just jumped on the guy, and a Good teammate backs up his team so we all started fighting and got thrown out of the rink and suspended for the rest of the playoff series, i actually think it is on youtube somewhere

absolutely. it was about 2 years ago and there was a huge brawl on the ice. i decided to just grab a hold of a player on the other team so nobody would get ganged up on. he started pushing me so I told him let's go. So we fought the only way you should fight. we went to center ice, dropped the gloves and sticks, took off our helmets, and went at it. No hatred, just a simple fight. And it was worth it.

guess i missed an almost fight last saturday at the aces game couple of my friends wherehaveing a girls nightout and decided to go to the hockey game. i was pissed off cause i had invited on of them to go watch it with me first and she never got back to me, but she could go with her girlfriends geesh. back to story though. we're fans of the cow bells up here and knowing them they where getting lil obnocious with them but it would only have been in good fun and support of the home team. guess guy in front of them said something to one of them. and they mixed few words. got the txt of to bad your not here we need our protection. which is ironic cause no problems happen when im around.

I grew up playing hockey while the Broad Street Bullies were making their mark. It wasn't unusual to drop your gloves at any level of play in those days. Heck, we even had fights playing road hockey.
I have never had an issue at any sporting event I've gone to. Probably because I don't get drunk and I have a wee bit of size to me.

While playing or as a spectator?

Oh, god no. It's a game, nothing else. Even if it's last year's Sabres bandwagon, I wouldn't get into anything physical with them. They're cheering for their team, I'm cheering for mine. There's much more to life than being stupid like that. I save my physical confrontations for something more worthwhile, like standing up for someone. Or like what DC said.
