the country is about half and half, but definitely more than 3/4 of the people on Yahoo Answers are neocons who only ask meanhearted questions like "why are liberals so stupid?"
Is that because most liberals have better things to be doing with their time? (obviously I'm a liberal and on here, but I admit that i'm pretty lame and could probably be doing something more productive.)
It's kind of weird that almost everyone on here is not just conservative but VERY conservative (and also mean)

it would have been a mean question if i asked "why are republicans so lazy? all they do is ask questions on yahoo," which i didn't. I thought "hmm maybe yahoo has a history of being conservative or something like that."
If someone asked a question like this about liberals I wouldn't find it mean, I'm talking things that are actually mean, like republicans always telling me that I'm uneducated, dirty and on welfare.

worthless recruit- It's different to call one person who is famous a name than to call an entire group of people a name that isn't based on anything. I admit I do it to, everyone does, but i find that type of meanness more from the conservative side on this website than the liberals. insulting bush isn't personally insulting your character.

I think it depends on what time of day you are here. I've come across some pretty mean liberals.
I also feel while the conservatives may tend to use the thumbs button more...liberals tend to use the little flag more.

Ofcourse. That's why you see so many of us Republicans out protesting during work hours at rallys. We are the ones with better things to do. I don't want to be stereotypical so no, neither of the parties have better things to do with their time. You tell me where you got the statistics, 3/4 of the people on Yahoo Answers are neocons...... Sounds like propaganda to me. Saying that people are mean is a fair observation but I've seen some mean liberals too. I just believe in being educated. I don;t care what party you are as long as your well educated.

I think it really depends on what your mindset is, I was just thinking the exact opposite, that there were a lot of just plain mean Democrat liberals on here. But in reality it's about 50/50. Any time of day you can find just as many people saying "why do democrats hate America" as you can find people saying "why do repubs hate Amerika."
It's all in your state of mind, you can find short-sided, partison based, non-logical political nutcases everywhere on both sides of the fence.

The country has always been predominately conservative and thankfully still is.
That said the libs usually start coming out of the woodwork a little later at night.

actually i find the liberals are far more educated
particullarly the older ones
so most of the liberals have FULL and complete lives that don't allow them to spend all their time on Y!A
the conservatives obviously have a lot of free time because their families usually hate them because they are mean to them as well
wait til u see the hateful remarks that women get

It's not your imagination. There are indeed WAY more Cons on Yahoo. I've spent alot of time looking at & commenting on these message boards & almost all of them (over 90%) are from Ultra Cons saying nasty thing about Libs, Obama, Hillary or something else. I imagine many of them are retired or out of work ppl with little to do but spread their hate & misery.
