I am currently on Lutera and ive been on it for about 7 months. I take my pill every afternoon and in the evenings, my stomach hurts really bad. I have not been "in the mood" for sex lately and am not sure if this pill is causeing these reactions. Is it ok to stop taking my pills half way throught he pack. And if so, what will happen if anything?

Your hormones may get a little whacky and cause your emotions to go off the deep end for a couple days. Then that lovely time of the month will appear. Other than that, no, nothing.

First of all, why are you taking them twice a day?
I was on Birth Control pills for 5 years.. One day I decided I had enough of them because they made me much to emotional, and stopped taking them. There were no side effects at all.. it might make your period a little whacky for the first couple months ( meaning it will come at different times) but other than that, going off them was the best thing I ever did!
If you are looking for a different form of Birth Control that is less intrusive to the mind and body ( in my opinion ) look into geting an Marina IUD.. they are 99.9% effective, and have no side effects each month. Alot of women really like them!

Yes, you can stop. It may cause your period to start early, but other then that...and the fact that you can get pregnant...there should be no side effects.

Talk to your doctor. You could stop them now, but you could always wait till the end of the pack if you are near the end of it.

See what your doctor says.
