It depends on how good of a job you want done. You can go to a shake-n-bake and get one for $300 or so, but they don't sand a lot, they don't tape up a lot, and you get what you pay for. If you want a good job that's guaranteed from a good shop that does the labor to R&I (remove and install) things like the belt moldings on the doors, the taillight assemblies, the door handles, and whatever else it will take, then you're looking at around $3000.00. Again, you have to ask yourself, is the 2001 (7 years old now) car worth it, or would you be better off using that $3000.00 and the car as a trade-in for something else?
