That depends upon circumstances. I've lost control of objects during work. I've stabbed myself accidentally. If I can hurt myself by accident, then it is not impossible that I can stab someone else by accident. There is also intent of harm to consider. Where was the person stabbed? Was it in the foot or hand? Was there control of the weapon or haphazard use? Was the attacker in his right mind? There is more to a crime than just an act. Good luck figuring it out.

Yes it is because when you stab your attempting to murder them even though thas not what you want to do. A knife is not an incapacitant weapon just like a gun is not one either.

That all depends....

If the person was defending their, or a loved one's, life then it is self-defense.

If they planned it ahead of time, it is attempted murder.

If it was a spur of the moment reaction, like in a fight where they had a choice to not participate, it is assault with a deadly weapon.

If a person just goes up to someone and stabs them yes.
If they are defending theirselves no.

If it's proved you planned to kill him, which would be easy, yes.
