What kind of opening???? I'm guessing 1 1/2" holes for the fixtures....They have a hole saw that you can buy, but kind of pricey about $50-$80.....Get a 1 1/2" Carborundum hole saw, that will make the holes that you want....I have them where I work, The Berkeley Tool Lending Library....
It might be worth paying someone to do it.....

I have never heard of plaster rock cement. All three yes all three together no. What's 2 inches thick the vanity? The wall it hooked to? What do you want to cut? A hole? If so they rent core drills for coring holes in cement plaster rock. If you need to cut a section you need a diamond tip masonry blade for your circular saw. They are about 35- 40 dollars. DON'T get a cheap one you'll be sorry. If you have to rent the saw and blade or the drill and bit know what your going to do ahead of time. They are fairly expensive to rent and you usually have to buy the blade because they don't them back all dulled up. Good luck and happy chopping.

a diamond blade on an angle grinder will cut through in seconds ..but make sure you have no pipes or electric internally ..it will be very dusty
