Well, I lost my mucus plug earlier today, and I've had a few bouts of diarreah since, but now I have horrendous pain in my front left hip that is causing me to not even really be able to lift my leg up. What could this be? I called and talked to my doc when i lost my mucus plug, and she said that as long as I dont have my water break, or as long as Im not getting extreme contractions I dont need to worry...but...with this being my first baby, I'm worried, needless to say. Has anyone else experienced this before so far into the pregnancy?

Could the baby have dropped or turned and is now putting more pressure on your spine/nerves, like your sciatic nerve and causing pain? I had sciatica and it affected one of my hips, right in the front, right around where the joint was and it hurt! I'm sorry! At least you know it will be happening soon.....so lets hope that the baby did drop!

Of course no one can know for sure until it happens, but from reading all of your symptoms over your last few questions, I'd be really surprised if you aren't in full-on labor very soon :) Relaxing will help bring labor on, if you can manage that. Get some rest while you can, then come back and let us know how it went!

Could be a number of things, try to lay on your right side with a pillow in between your legs and see if that relieves some of the pain. Mine does that too and it eventually pops when I move it, but I don't know if that'll help you.

It's probably the head of the baby making it's way down the pelvis and rubbing your nerves the wrong way. Don't worry, it'll disappear after birth.

its normal, I'm going through the same pains, its your pelvis opening up as your baby makes his way down the birth canal, you will feel sharp crampy pains and boy does it freaking hurt. I take a bath to help with my pains and I am due in a 4 days time.

Goodluck

You may be in early labor.

"Other common symptoms of labor are feelings of heaviness, transient fatigue and hip pains."

Congrats so exciting :)
