Well, the bone on either side of the nose before it begins to protrude is the maxilla. The bone directly behind the nose, on the interior is the vomer bone. The bone that makes up the bridge of the nose is the nasal bone. Hope I could help.

The nose protrudes from the rest of the face and is made up of cartilage, so you can't really say any bones surround it.

The bones form a chamber to warm the air we breathe in. People living in colder climate tend to have a bigger nose than those living in warmer climate.
