General Business is just that 'general'. It will cover a variety of areas like accounting and econ and management and marketing and ... everything.

Information Systems -- all about the computer systems used in the business environment. Not about writing software or building computers but more about networking and applications.

Management -- all about how to influence people toward achieving the company goal (usually making more money) and the tools needed to accomplish that.

Marketing -- all about selling things. How we package them and get the customer to think ours is the best widget.

There will be many courses at are a part of all AS degrees and some that are a part of all Business Admin degrees and some that are only part of the specific major track you pick.

Unless you know for sure that you want to work in or do more study in one of the specialties, the general business is probably the one with the most usefulness because it applies to everything.
