Anyone know how to make for donation boxes/ jars? You know, the ones you see when you check-out in a store. I have a high school club ,and we are going to raise money for animal shelters. Any websites with instructions

1. Look for a "catchy " picture of your club. 2. Use your computer to print out what the donation jars are for. 3. paste the picture to the top of what you printed and use your copy machine to make up what you are gong to tape to your boxes or jars.

Get a candy box from your local paper goods store, the kind that closes like a lid. Carve an opening in the top, wrap the box in gift wrap and and carefully cut the wrapping over the opening, folding it to the inside and taping down. Then add a cardboard back that stands up like a billboard. Print a flier the size of your billboard and attach it.

After the collection is over, remove the gift wrap and just open the box.

You can either buy them from one of the local discound stores. Or you can check the school kitchen (if you have one) they usually have those huge plastic jars. Another possible free source is a restaurant, they usually have them too.

Once you get it, punch a hole in the top. Decorate the sides with your slogan and cause. It'll be nice.

Good luck. PS don't forget to make a virtual jar for the school intranet if you can get permission.
