Not a threat to America citizens per se, but along with his neoconservative henchmen, he is a threat to overall global stability. Though he is a "lame duck," there is still plenty of time for him to screw up domestic and foreign policy even more thus, leaving a bigger mess for the next president to clean up after.

Bush is a puppet of the right, ultra-wealthy, and Uncle Dick (Cheney). If you're as old as I am, you recall Edgar Bergen and Mortimer Snerd. Prior to our attack on Sadaam Hussein, Uncle Dick and the oil barons met (the minutes of the meeting have still not been released) and our attack on one of the weakest oil nations ensued. The administration stated publicly that Iraq's own oil assets would pay for the war! No further proof is needed to prove that it was a merchant war that has backfired to the tune of $1 trillion with the 2nd trillion ensuing. Bush has fulfilled his threat and more.

No... the real threat is those that let pathological irrational hate cloud their minds so much that they would willing see this country lose a war and/or suffer one or more terrorist attacks on our shores just to make a point... the real threat are those that give aid, comfort and support to the enemy by trashing the US and praising terrorist leaders... The propaganda from web sites of the terrorist and their speeches are almost identical.... They will bring this country to it's Knees to assuage their hate....

Remember 9/11, the first Gulf war, Al-quida, the taliban? Seems you are confusing the cure and the disease.

No. He isn't a threat to America itself.
Just a threat to all the values and ideals that previous generations fought and died to uphold.
He is tearing apart everything that made America great.
But at the end of the day America will still survive. It may not be called the united states but more likely the divided states unless everyone works together to get rid of him and undo his reforms before we all regret it.

Bush is possibly the least intelligent president we have ever had. He is not capable of being a threat to us, but his advisors, especially Darth Cheney, are. We are much less safe now than we were 6 years ago. Our military is stretched so thin we couldn't respond to serious aggression or threats. We are so in debt due to the Iraq "war" we will not pay for it for decades and our economy will suffer and real needs of our people like health care will continue to go unmet.

A threat is more a looming, scary thing that /could/ cause a lot of trouble, but hasn't yet. Bush might have been a threat to America in 2000. Now he's just a lame duck facing an opposition-controlled Congress. No, he's not a threat, his relevance is declining rapidly as we type.

No , Bush is not any threat to America, he is one large threat to international terrorism though. History will remember Bush as the man who took terrorism as a military instead of police problem and went after them.
