why can identical twins NOT be produced by 2 heteozygous parents?

what do you mean by heterozygous parents?

i think that identical twins can be produced despite the gene similarities between parents. identical twins are created by mere chance where the embryo divides into two after fertilization and develops into two seperate fetuses.

I support "confused". Identical twins could come from any parents.
