The Beatles in their Mop Top look will generate the most recognition and are the most fun when you can get your band mates to all shake their heads during those "scream" moments in the lyrics, e.g when "Shake it up Baby" rises to it's crescendo.

Just grow it out and put a bowl over your head and cut beneath it. That's how they did it originally.
