For those of you who are movie buffs, do you have any particular favorite films which you could see over and over again, and genuinely never get tired of watching? Perhaps it's a movie you own on DVD/videotape which you like to pop in when you're bored or to cheer you up when you're feeling down.

Or despite the fact that you may already own a copy of the movie, when it airs on TV, you find that you still can't help sitting and watching it.

If so, what is it about the film that has such re-watchability value for you?

Is it the performance by the actors?

The story or its message/theme?

The special effects?

The set design/shooting locations?

The costumes?

The way in which the filmmaker shot it?

Hands down..."Back to the Future".

Who wouldn't want to jump into a Delorean and time travel while being chased by a bunch of angry ripped-off Lybians in a Ninja Turtle van?

Besides Doc Brown & Marty, all the charachters are excellent in this film and are well played from Biff (Thomas Wilson) to Marty's nerdy & wimpy dad (Crispin Glover) and Marty's hot mom (Lea Thomson). Christopher Loyd and Michael J. Fox work so well together in all of the films as well as the focus is mainly around them.

The story line is pretty cool, it'd be so neat to go back and see your parents as teenagers, I just wouldn't want my mother falling in love me-haha.

My all time favorite comedy that I could watch over & over & over is "Arthur" with the late greats Dudley Moore & Sir John Gielgud. With Liza Minelli in the mix, the three are hysterical. Great timing, & funny as hell banter, especially outside Bergdorf's when Liza gets caught stealing a tie for her father & Arthur comes to her rescue much to the chagrine of Hopson. The sweet love story just brings it all home.

Here is my list. They are older movies that grab me even though I know them by heart. The reason I can watch them again and again is they are entertaining.
"Casablanca"
"Treasure of the Sierra Madre"
The Caine Mutiny"
"In Harms Way"
"!Tori !Tori !Tori"
"Twelve O'clock High"
"Sink the Bismark"
I guess you can tell I like war flicks.
"The Right Stuff"
"Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid"
"Star Wars"
And now the one I have probably watched the most, the TV series:
"Victory at Sea".

Pulp Fiction. The dialog is great. Quinten Tarantino is the master of dialog.

The actors are awesome. I think the perfects actors were perfectly cast for each part.

Pulp Fiction is just a master piece.

I could watch "The Wedding Singer" over and over.....I liked to see Drew Barrymore act in it and I love comedies...
Titanic was very good too....Great acting and a mixture of drama....some funny, some sad, some suspense, some tragedy...It had it all.
I watched "Passion of Christ 45 times....If my Lord went through all that I would like to have been by his side.....I cried every time I saw it.

Jurassic Park. It is just the most awesome movie ever! I can recite the entire movie word for word. It is just one of those movies that everytime you watch it you hope that everything turns out okay even though you already know it does--you can get very emotionally into it.

Magnolia.

The characters, the camerawork, the bizarre dialogue, the intersecting stories, the overall quirkiness, the almost self-aware pretentiousness, the "Wise Up" sequence. I could go on.

Any of the Star Wars films get me. I can watch any one of them, and find myself hooked. The action and story are so compelling, that I find whenever they're on, I have to watch.

Office Space. You can pick it up at any point and still enjoy it.

Friday - another one that you can just pick up at any point and watch probably because of Chris Tuckers comedy/acting.
