A Democrat taxes, and spends.
A Republican spins, and attacks.
Or to quote Bill Maher " A Republican will p*ss on you, a Democrat will give you an umbrella then p*ss on you."

Sheesh. You're a republican if you register republican or a democrat if you register democrat. You could also be a libertarian or green or whatever, if you register with some hopeless third party.

Liberal is a broad classification of political ideas that, in general, embrace change, strive for egalitarianism (equality of condition), question tradition, and distrust authority.

Conservative is roughly the opposite, a broad grouping of political ideas that generally are suspicious of change, value individual responsibility, defend tradition, and respect authority.

Right wing is generally associated with republicans and conservatives. It's the more nationalist, capitalist side of the political spectrum.

Left wing is gnerally associated with democrats and liberals. it's the more socialist, multi-culturalist side of the political spectrum.

Republicans like and have old fashioned morals, liberals like killing babies and paying taxes but the liberal idea of welfare is draining a lot of money out of the tax payers money. You're probably a liberal if you love blacks and gays, think that all people are equal and pretend to be poor.

Well.... If you have been indeed paying attention to National and world events and still don't understand what is going on you are probably a liberal

If you have morals and beliefs, and you try live by them, you're on the right. If you think people should work for a living, you're a republican. If you think abortion is murder and marriage is for 1 man and 1 woman, you're a conservative.

If you think the government owes you a living, communism is a pretty good idea, and that money, pregnancy, and christians are bad, you are a liberal, leftie, democrat.

Do you like war, torture, poor education, and the rich becomming richer? Then you are a republican.

Democrats...have their issues too...but aren't nearly as bad.

***ditto on the Bill Mahar quote.
