I have posted some questions regarding whom my ex should work on the relationship? Some answers said that he should work on the relationship with his ex spouse instead of the new partner because they have make a marriage vows, and they have been through the good and bad times together. How about if a person whom married few times, which ex he would work on the relationship? Does each ex means same in God's eyes? Then, how about his current partner whom this person also make a commitment with? Does it mean nothing at all because we have not got that piece of paper yet?

You can be committed to a person with out a piece of paper. Sometimes marriages just do not work out. A lot of people are telling others that they took a vow. The other person also took a vow to love, honor and to be faithful. If one person breaks his vow why are they putting the other person down for wanting out of theirs? If my marriage vows are broken then my marriage is over and that is final.

First and foremost, What God's intentions for us in marriage solely depend on which religion of God you follow. If you follow the Christian religion, the bible states that your first marriage is the only one till death do you part, except for adultry are you allowed to divorce the offender. In today's acceptable practice of divorce by Christians, we do divorce for several reasons and move on to another spouse. Keep in mind the one you are with is the ONLY ONE YOU SHOULD BE DEVELOPING A "CLOSE" RELATIONSHIP WITH. Past spouses and significant others have lived the duration of their past relationship and it is over. Sure, they sholuld be civil to each other; however, it should not supercede a new one for attention or demands. I hope this helps.

vows mean nothing if there is no value behind them, and a vow is a commitment, so as long as we are human, we are frail, and will break commitments / vows, each has the same value
