Besides Ozzfest '06, the HELLYEAH concert I seen Oct. 30 was the best concert I have been too. Bloodsimple blew the roof of the place. OTEP put on an awesome show too. Then HELLYEAH, just tore the place apart. Anyone else have a concert experience they want to rate as the best?

Emily the Strange - I could add that concert to the list too because I was there also. Sat to the right if the stage, the seats were outstanding, the only problem was we couldn't see Vinnie Apice. But since that day whenever I hear anything Dio, the volume goes way up.

May 12, 2007. Machine Head, Megadeth and Heaven & Hell (Black Sabbath) at Cobo Hall. I've been to a few concerts, but I think this one was the best.

EDIT: I had bad seats, but hey at least I could still see the show. I could barely see Tony Iommi throughout most of the show, but Vinny Appice's drum solo was AWESOME.

I think I'd have to rate my first concert ever as the best, because it just blew me away in a good way - Sepultura on the Arise tour. Also Megadeth when touring on The World Needs A Hero, I really enjoyed that gig more than I ever expected. The other couple of great gigs that come to mind aren't metal as such - Faith No More on the Angel Dust tour, and Deep Purple on the Rapture Of The Deep Tour. I was buzzing for 3 days after that Purple gig.

Savatage- 1990 and 1998, both different eras of the band killer both times.
Queensryche- pretty much dead on from the records
Armored Saint- 1990- fight erupted during one of the opening acts and pretty much cleared the place out. Got a nice spot against the stage, almost cracked my head on Joey Vera's headstock
Metallica-Monsters Of Rock tour 1988- blew pretty much everyone but the Scorpions away.

Queensryche/Judas Priest (Angel of Retribution tour) Awesome show by both bands.

Sarsstock, Toronto--Rush, AC/DC, Rolling Stones. Rush and AC/DC were amazing.

Iron Maiden (Number of the Beast tour) Great show by a band that was still working to prove themselves.

I've only been to a few metal concerts, but I liked Ozzfest, Bullet for My Valentine, and Dope.

Ministry at this hardcore metal venue which had about 300 people there. It was evil and for an encore Gibby Haynes came out and sang Jesus Built My HotRod.
